	Hello my name is Taryn and this is my story. Have you ever been working at your computer for so long that your hand feels cramped over your mouse or you look up at the clock horrified that it's been 4 hours since you last moved or got up from your computer? Well that was my life for the past 30 years and I have used all sorts of timers and alarms to help remind me to get up or move .. even a little.. because once I get involved in a program on my computer....time just slips away! "sound familiar?"
FINALLY IT HIT ME ... why don't I get the computer to HELP ME! So I feverishly started making notes, doing research and designing what I wanted, which was a program that was not boring or bland but bright and colourful because I wanted people of all ages to benefit from it at work and at home! It's main job would be to get your attention and remind you to move! Seemed like a simple idea to me however I needed help to build a software program, so..... I put it out there to the universe and can you believe that within hours an old friend from years ago called to say hi ... he just happened to be a talented software engineer. So after a zillion hours the rest, as they say ... is history! Smidgit™ was BORN and WE LOVE IT!
