Try downloading Smidgit again. Smidgit will only work on Windows 2003 and later systems so if your computer is older it sadly may not be compatible.

This is because you have the FREE version of Smidgit. The PAID/LICENCED version will show all our various animated smidgie characters and human smidgies too.

Clicking the ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ buttons will allow you to view the next 3 or previous 3 movements only. We don’t want to take away the excitement of new Smidgie appearances.

Pressing the repeat button will allow you to repeat the current movement as many times as you like.

Just click the BACK ARROW button and you go back 3 exercises .. clever hey!

Yes over time we will increase the Smidgie family!

Smidgit was designed to sit in your system tray and only pop up at the times set by you (the free version pops up every 45 min). The software was specifically built to not interfere with any other programs running on a computer.

When Smidgit is on the screen move your mouse to the topor bottom corner of the box and an arrow will appear. With your mouse drag the arrow out (toward the middle of your screen) and Smidgit will enlarge. Smidgit will remember the last size you had and pop up with that size the next time it appears.

Users of  Windows 7
Click on the round START button (on the far left)
Click on ALL PROGRAMS  (should appear at the bottom)
Click on the Start Up Folder

Click on the Smidgit Icon   wait about 5 seconds and it will re-appear in your system tray.

Users of XP
Click on the square START button (on the far left)
Click on PROGRAMS
Click on Start Up Folder

Click on the Smidgit Icon  wait about 5 seconds and it will re-appear in your system tray.

It's very easy. Just double click on your Smidgit icon in your system tray.

Once Smidgit is running click on the SPEAKER icon in the Smidgit menu and you will see a slider bar appear with a MUTE box.

TICK the mute box and the sound will STOP for this Smidgit appearance and all future appearances.
To turn the sound back ON ... repeat the same process above and UN-TICK the mute box and you will again hear the Smidgit audio.

Smidgit™ should not interfere with other programs you have running. Smidgit™ is built using standard Microsoft technologies and should work seamlessly on all of the supported operating systems.

Once downloaded and installed Smidgit™ will operate regardless of being on the internet. However, Smidgit™ will require occasional connection to the internet to allow the automatic downloads of new actions, characters and themes otherwise it will eventually repeat many of the same actions.

Once Smidgit™ has been installed it will place a small icon in your system tray (adjacent to the date/time near the right hand end of the task bar). Right-clicking on the icon will popup the Smidgit™ menu. Selecting the Options menu item will allow you to adjust Smidgit™ to your personal preferences.

You can download Smidgit via our website www.smidgit.com/download.php or at many of the popular download sites. At the start of the download, select ‘Run’ and the program will download and install in about 10 - 20 minutes depending on your download speeds.

Once you load the licence file in to Smidgit™, you will have access to all of the PAID features of Smidgit™.

OK. You need to save the file from your email to anywhere convenient on your computer. Usually by opening the email, right clicking on the attached licence file and selecting ‘Save As...’. This will open the ‘Save Attachment’ window. Now select a convenient Folder for saving the licence file. You could use ‘My Documents’ or ‘Desktop’ or somewhere on your C: Drive. It is purely up to you, but you need to remember where you saved it (or write it down). Do NOT change the filename! Once you have selected the destination folder or drive, press ‘Save’.

Now start Smidgit™. Right click on the Smidgit icon in the system tray (down near the time on the right side of the taskbar). The Smidgit™ menu will popup. Select ‘Load Licence File’. A browsing window will open. Browse to the location where you saved the licence file earlier, select the file and press ‘Load’. Smidgit™ will take a copy of the licence file and load it in. If the licence file is valid, Smidgit™ will switch to PAID mode and off you go. Now enjoy the full features of SmidgitTM.

Hopefully, you will love Smidgit™ and never want to remove it, but... if you really must then...

Right-click on the Smidgit icon in the system tray, select Uninstall, answer all of the prompts and Smidgit will be gone.
